Warehouses

January 28, 2025

Overview

Warehouses represent the physical or logical locations where your inventory is stored. Panelque syncs locations from your Shopify store automatically and also lets you create custom warehouses for internal tracking.

Warehouse List

The warehouses page shows a table with:

  • Name - The warehouse name
  • Location - An optional description of where it is
  • Items - Number of distinct items stored there
  • Custom - Whether it was created in Panelque (custom) or synced from Shopify

Shopify-Synced Warehouses

Locations configured in your Shopify admin are synced into Panelque automatically. These warehouses cannot be edited or deleted from within Panelque — manage them in Shopify instead.

Custom Warehouses

You can create additional warehouses for locations that don’t exist in Shopify — for example, a raw materials storage area or a production floor.

Adding a Warehouse

Click Add Warehouse and enter:

  • Name (required)
  • Location (optional)

Editing

Edit the name or location of any custom warehouse from the action menu.

Deleting

Custom warehouses can only be deleted if they contain no stock items. Emptying a warehouse first requires moving or adjusting its stock through the inventory system.

How Warehouses Are Used

Throughout Panelque, warehouses appear whenever stock is involved:
